The Farnsworth House, built by (Ludwig) Mies van der Rohe in 1951 and located near Plano, Illinois, is one of the most famous examples of mid-century modernist domestic architecture – the pefect house, a perfect setting (OK, some place where the temperature never falls below 55F might be better, but the view is gorgeous anyway), and the perfect interior.
